Riiah World

RiiahWORLD is an R&B Hip-Hop Neo Soul artist out of South Florida. "Riiah” is my real name. WORLD is an acronym for Winning Off Real Life Decisions." Born in Pompano Beach, Florida (Collier City to be exact), it isn't the most ideal place to grow up due to the high volume of drug trafficking and violence. Despite the many obstacles Riiah faced, he was raised in a family full of musicians and singers. He began playing the piano at the age of three alongside his mother.

Through the years he began doing talent shows his father would put him in. Over time his love for the arts grew and after high school he attended New World School of the Arts Conservatory where he earned an Associates in Arts for theater and music theater.

Since my entire family sang and or played an instrument, I didn't know I was talented at all. What I did seemed pretty normal until I walked through the doors of that school. They embraced and nurtured my talent!" Riiah would begin his musical career singing covers with local legendary Comedian Larry Dogg at Cafe Iguanas’ weekly show Music Monday's with Felicia Monae of 99JAMZ. Gaining this new found exposure, local record label Strong Arm Records picked him up as a songwriter, writing with artists such Flo-Rida, Natalie La Rose, Pleasure P, Mase, Gorilla-Zoe, and Brisco just to name a few.
